The Gemological Institute of Genoa does not limit itself to analyzing the Gem and giving you its gemological characteristics, but transforms those gemological characteristics into concrete values, into real money, which the client could most likely obtain were they to sell it.

Until the nineties, we Italians were the third nation in the world for money spent on Jewelry, immediately after two sacred giants such as the U.S.A. and Japan. Thinking about which position of this ranking we have dropped to in recent years, while on one hand it makes us sad, on the other hand it also says: alright guys, the time has come to roll up our sleeves!
The Gemological Institute of Genoa is pure transparency: we are not interested in making you an appraisal or recommending a Diamond; we are interested in our children being able to make an appraisal or have your children buy a good Diamond. We do it for them, so we will have to keep morals high and ethics sky-high in the years to come.
Among the various services we also offer anti-fraud photos inside the Gem. Internally, Gems are all different from each other: every Diamond and every Colored Gem has at least one distinctive sign that makes it different from the others. So we can photograph the inside of your Precious Gem, immortalizing the distinctive inclusion characteristics, and no one will ever be able to replace it without being caught.
