Our Gemological Institute is pleased to announce that it collaborates with the First-Level Academic Master in “Design for Craftsmanship – Artistic Jewelry” proposed by the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence, and will have the honor of running the course relating to Gemology.
The forms to enroll in the Jewelry Master are on the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence website, but can also be accessed by clicking on the following link: https://www.accademia.firenze.it/it/component/k2/321-mappa-offerta-formativa/design-per-l-artigianato-il-gioiello-artistico
The Jewelry Master is aimed at first or second-level graduates from State and legally recognized Academies of Fine Arts, ISIA, Universities, possibly tied to the Architecture and Design sectors. The professional figures it aims to train correspond to designers for the management of Artistic Jewelry Design, systems and communication, to be applied to the Tuscan artistic supply chain or for the creation of self-entrepreneurship.
It is known that Florence has a territorial vocation in the field of Jewelry: during the Renaissance it gave birth to Benvenuto Cellini, who, in addition to being a refined sculptor, is considered by all to be the father of goldsmithing, well representing the demands of art and sculpture pursued throughout this Master’s training course.
